Job Overview

The Training Specialist will deliver claim adjudication and disability claim management training to new and existing staff, develop and maintain training programs, and ensure adherence to policies, legislative changes, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Provide training on disability claims, rehabilitation, and early intervention services.
  • Educate and coach staff on claims management and processes.
  • Develop and update training programs and claim procedures.
  • Support staff understanding of procedural changes.
  • Maintain training documentation and perform quality assurance audits.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in disability case management or claims examination.
  • Experience in developing and delivering adult learning programs.
  • Certifications such as medical terminology, ALHC, ACS, ALMI, or FLMI are assets.
