Position : Training Specialist Senior

Location : Toronto, Ontario

Must have :

• 5 years of experience as a Trainer, preferably in the Public Sector, Land Ambulance Dispatch Centers, or Paramedic services. Experience delivering training material to both technical and non-technical users.
• Experience creating training material or user documentation, preferably in the Public sector or Healthcare sector.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements :

Training Experience

• Experience developing and delivering a province/nation-wide training strategy and rollout plan for operational and First Responder environments.
• Experience creating and managing training project plans and schedules.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and manage a complex province-wide schedule.
• Experience working on the PSRN project.

Technical Experience

• Experience with Public Safety equipment systems such as Public Safety Radio Network.
• Experience with telecom and dispatch systems.

Analytic and Communication Skills / General Experience and Skills

• Experience in developing, designing, and delivering training material for both technical and non-technical users.
• Knowledge of Radio/Telephone systems, GIS spatial concepts, Automated Vehicle Locator.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to articulate messages clearly to diverse audiences.
• Team player with a track record of meeting deadlines.

Additional Requirements

• Minimum valid driver's license (G or equivalent) and ability to travel within Ontario frequently.
• Experience working with large project teams.

Industry Experience

• Experience delivering training in critical 24x7 operational environments.
• Experience with the land ambulance sector and familiarity with Public Safety sectors (Police, Ambulance, Fire).
• Knowledge of Emergency Health Services or Healthcare Sector is an asset.
