The City of Laval is seeking a trained administrator to support and coordinate training programs for police officers, under the inspector's authority. The role focuses on planning, implementing, and scheduling training activities while aligning with team capacity and operational guidelines.

This temporary maternity-leave replacement runs until December 2027, with a Class 1 salary range of $63,626.44 to $83,693.56, in-person at 3225, boul. St-Martin East.

Formación

• Two years' experience planning, coordinating and managing administrative logistics.
• Experience in budget management and monitoring.
• Experience producing analysis reports and recommendations.
• Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite.

The challenges that await you

Under the authority of the inspector, you support and assist the service in the training of police officers. To this end, you ensure the planning, implementation, and coordination of your service's training programs by developing a training activity schedule that respects the capacity of the teams as well as operations. You carry out the required follow-ups and write various reports and minutes in accordance with the service's guidelines.

The ideal profile for us

• Hold a certificate in administration, operations management, or any other relevant field for the position;
• Have two (2) years of experience in activities similar to those previously described in the summary, including:
  • In planning, coordination, and management of administrative logistics activities;
  • In budget management and monitoring;
  • In producing analysis reports and recommendations;
• Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite;
• Excellent communication skills in French, both verbally and in writing.
