Job summary

PAL Aerospace in Atlantic Canada is seeking a Training Manager to join our Air Ambulance team in St. John’s, NL or Goose Bay, NL. You will lead pilot training programs, oversee SOP development, and align training goals with management priorities.

The role requires King Air 200/350 experience, ATPL, 2500 total hours with multi-engine PIC hours and strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills. You’ll drive continuous improvement and mentor staff while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Must have experience on King Air 200 or King Air 350
  • Valid ATPL
  • 2500 hours total time
  • 500 multi-engine hours
  • 1000 PIC hours
  • Instrument Rating
  • Multi-engine Rating
  • Ability to work in a cohesive team environment
  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role would be considered an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Effective time management and planning skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of Aerospace operations
  • Experience in document management and developing new procedures

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Air Ambulance pilot training including ground school, simulator training, line indoctrination and line checks
  • Maintenance and development of Air Ambulance Standards and SOPs
  • Work closely with management to establish training goals and objectives
  • Provide mentorship to team members
  • Oversight of Electronic Training Record (ETR) system, continual lesson plan and syllabus development
  • Other duties as assigned
