Job summary

Commissionaires Nova Scotia is seeking a Training Manager to lead the CNS Training Team and oversee the development and delivery of high-quality training for staff and external clients across Nova Scotia.

As an internal CNS employee, you will drive training operations, build programs, and collaborate with HR, operations, and external partners to meet regulatory and organizational needs. A Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of training leadership are preferred.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of progressive experience developing, delivering, and evaluating customized training programs.
  • Experience leading a training team and coordinating cross-functional training.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and modern training methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Training Operations and schedule delivery of internal and external programs.
  • Collaborate with Training, HR, Recruitment, and Operations to set annual training plans.
  • Support mandatory training requirements and monitor evaluations for continuous improvement.
  • Develop programs, strategies, and policies to ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Build external training partnerships and tailor solutions for clients.
