Job summary

A leading air cargo service provider in Winnipeg is seeking a Full-Time Training Coordinator responsible for conducting internal training courses for equipment operators and maintaining safety certifications. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in the Air Cargo industry, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. A high school diploma and relevant training certifications are required for this role.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 years experience operating equipment in the Air Cargo industry; must be familiar with aircraft operations.
  • Possess the necessary certification to conduct training (e.g. forklift train-the-trainer certification).
  • Must be computer literate; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Current valid driver's license & clean driver's abstract.
  • Good record-keeping documentation and reporting skills.
  • Must be flexible, decisive, work well under pressure & work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent operation skills with attention to care & maintenance of equipment.
  • Strong organization skills & must be able to multi-task.
  • Strong interpersonal communication (verbal/written) and presentation skills.
  • Previous experience conducting on-site training would be an asset.
  • Strong competence in the correct & safe operation of forklifts, loaders, tugs etc.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate expertise on equipment to learners & proven track record of safety practices.
  • Must be an effective team member and must be able to work with little or no supervision.

  • Maintain records of staff participation and completion.

  • Evaluate effectiveness of training.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work.
