Reporting directly to the Regional Manager of People and Culture, the Training Coordinator is responsible for empowering Paladin's front-line security professionals with the tools required to make the world a safer and friendlier place. This is primarily achieved by effectively kick-starting our people's Paladin journey with the delivery of our best-in-class training, providing ongoing compliance re-certification courses, and proactively recommending ways to improve curriculum and our people's experience.

Job Responsibilities
- Extensive travel throughout Alberta to support Paladin branches with training requirements.
- Ensure the Paladin Security 6 guiding principles underpin all training activities.
- Deliver branch-wide training courses using various mediums including employee handbooks, PowerPoint presentations, classroom sessions, and e-learning modules.
- Maintain and update training content and programs for both new hires and existing employees.
- Monitor and evaluate students' performance, providing feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure all course standards, requirements, and objectives are met.
- Maintain accurate administrative records related to training documentation.
- Update employee certifications, renewals, and training schedules on TEAM.
- Complete student assessment reports accurately and submit them to HR promptly.
- Observe record management requirements with utmost accuracy.
- Monitor, evaluate, and record training activities and program effectiveness across branches.
- Maintain a current library of training materials and review content annually for effectiveness and accuracy.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with branch employees.
- Keep senior management informed of training progress through written reports.
- Ensure students are informed about the Code of Ethics, company policies, and OH&S procedures.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
- First Aid Instructor certification is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Advanced license is mandatory.
- Clean driving abstract required.
- Ability to travel throughout Alberta.
- Ability to facilitate large classes effectively.
- Quick learner of physical and theoretical skills.
- Knowledge of Alberta Security Services and Investigators Act is an asset.
- Experience in Training Development and Security Training preferred.
- Ability to teach and lecture to diverse groups of students.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
- Strong administrative and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Outgoing, sociable, adaptable, patient, and detail-oriented.
- Physical ability to perform training skills.
- Authorized to legally work in Canada
