The Training Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that support all manufacturing employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely, competently, and efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. This role serves as a key liaison between HR, production supervisors, safety teams, and employees to support the workforce development and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, schedule, and track all training activities for manufacturing personnel, including onboarding, cross-training, and upskilling programs.
  • Develop training materials such as SOPs, visual aids, and assessments tailored to specific roles and processes.
  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, and other applicable industry standards.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify training needs and update training content regularly.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and gather feedback to drive improvements.
  • Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma training programs.
  • Manage Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Assist with safety training initiatives and coordinate certification renewals (e.g. forklift, lockout/tagout, etc.)
  • Stay current on industry best practices and trends in workforce development.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite programs.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality systems.

Qualifications

Required

  • Education: Associate Degree or equivalent experience training or learning & development, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience:
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience training teams utilizing strong communication and presentation skills.
