Job summary

Missinippi Airways seeks a Training Captain to lead Beechcraft King Air 200, Cessna 550, and 208 training in Winnipeg. The candidate must meet Transport Canada licence and medical criteria and be prepared to travel to Atlanta and Wichita for recurrent training.

This full-time role involves developing training programs, maintaining records, and coordinating with the Chief Pilot. Ideal candidates hold an ATPL with Group 1 IFR, 2000 turboprop hours, and significant PIC experience, plus readiness to

Qualifications

2000 hours total flight time on a turboprop.
500 hours PIC Beech King Air.
C208 experience.
1000 Multi Pilot In Command flight time.
ATPL with a Group 1 IFR.
Category 1 Medical not required.
Turboprop simulator training is asset.
PR card with a valid Passport.
Ability to obtain TSA approval.
Must be available to travel to Atlanta and Wichita for recurrent flight training at FlightSafety multiple times per month.

Responsibilities

Conduct ground, synthetic flight training device of all flight crew in accordance with the approved training program.
Conduct on wing training if required.
Supervision of the standards and recommending amendments to their respective standard operating procedures.
Maintaining the Company’s training records.
Creating new and maintaining the Company’s current online training programs.
Liaison with the Chief Pilot and Assistant Chief Pilot concerning training details.
Other responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Pilot.
Monitor operation and identify problems requiring extra training or changes in procedures.
Establish and promulgate standards and piloting techniques with which pilots must comply during flight ops.
Conduct Line Indoctrination and Line Checks, as required.

LOCATION: Winnipeg, Manitoba

POSITION: (1) Full-time

DESCRIPTION

Missinippi Airways is a customer focused, safety oriented air carrier that offers a wide range of services including executive charters, Medevacs and scheduled service to the communities of Manitoba and beyond. Missinippi Airways is proud to be counted as the only 100% First Nations owned air service in Northern Manitoba.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conducting ground, synthetic flight training device of all flight crew in accordance with the approved training program;
Conduct on wing training if required
Supervision of the standards and recommending amendments to their respective! standard operating procedures;
Maintaining the Company’s training records;
Creating new and maintaining the Company’s current online training programs;
Liaison with the Chief Pilot and Assistant Chief Pilot concerning training details;
Other responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Pilot.

Additional Responsibilities include

Monitoring the operation and identifying problems which may require the provision of extra training or changes in operational procedures;
Together with the Chief Pilot, the establishment and promulgation of the standards and piloting techniques with which pilots will be expected to comply during flight operations and which the pilots will be required to demonstrate during initial and recurrent checks;
Conducting Line Indoctrination and Line Checks, as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

2000 hours total flight time on a turboprop;
500 hours PIC Beech King Air;
C208 experience;
1000 Multi Pilot In Command flight time;
ATPL with a Group 1 IFR;
Category 1 Medical not required;
Have trained in a turboprop simulator is considered an asset
PR card with a Valid Passport;
Ability to obtain TSA approval;
Must be available to travel to Atlanta and Wichita to conduct recurrent flight training at FlightSafety multiple times per month.
