TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Location: OCDSB Administration Building; 133 Greenbank Road, Nepean ON
Position Status: 1.0 Term Assignment to May 2027
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
Affiliation: Union-Exempt
Salary Range: September 1, 2025 rates: $79,091 to $93,069 (Level 5)
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Program Manager, Leadership and Staff Development, the Coordinator will assist with coordinating ongoing training and development initiatives including the New Teacher Induction Program (NTIP), new employee orientation, and virtual and in person workshops and training programs. The Coordinator is responsible for managing performance management processes and softwares, various reimbursement programs and talent identification initiatives. The Coordinator will also assist in the management of the District’s Learning Management System and the organization of the District’s employee recognition program and retirement celebration.
The Coordinator may also support the implementation and management of leadership development initiatives for the District, including supporting the development and coordination of a comprehensive leadership and succession planning strategy. The Coordinator may also support the Program Manager with the planning and advancement of the District’s Principal Vice-Principal Selection Process, corporate internship, student placement, and mentoring programs.
