Team WPGenius is looking for a passionate coder to build publicly available plugins.

Responsibilities

• Build modern and advanced WordPress solutions.
• Design websites using WordPress themes & plugins.
• Develop WordPress themes & plugins.
• Communicate with clients.
• Conduct extensive research to build innovative solutions with a perfect user experience.
• Plan and manage issues via Asana/Jira.
• Respect timelines and communicate progress proactively using Slack.

Must-Have Skills

• Basic knowledge of WordPress.
• Knowledge of WordPress plugins and themes.
• Good understanding of User Experience.
• Team-oriented behavior and excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Hard worker and passionate – we are growing super FAST.
• “Roll-up your sleeves” attitude to get things done.
• Good listener, communicator, and team player.

Good to Have Skills

• Object-oriented PHP programming.
• Knowledge of WordPress & WordPress Template Hierarchy.
• Deep expertise and knowledge in UX design systems and processes.
• Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
