FedEx Canada is seeking personnel for an interview-position role focused on trailer movement, loading/unloading, and sorting of packages within the yard. The job entails manual handling, lifting and sorting with attention to safety and efficiency standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and a good driving record. Quebec residents may need bilingual proficiency in French and English.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
• Six months of experience as a package handler or switching/CDL operator preferred.
• In Quebec, must be bilingual (French and English).

Mansioni

• Move trailers to and from unload/load doors and throughout the yard.
• Physically load, unload, or sort packages by hand as needed.
• Perform package handling using hand-to-surface techniques and operate loading equipment as required.
• Load/unload packages onto delivery vehicles, trailers, conveyor carts and load gratings.
• Lift, carry, push and pull packages for two to four hour shifts as needed.
