Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain CVIP is essential.

Job description

Please note this position is permanent full‐time and subject to either 4x10s, 5x8s, or Continental shift.

All of our Technicians are enrolled in the Technician Safety Award Program, providing awards and recognition for safety.

The Licensed Trailer Technicians will work in conjunction with the Service Coordinator, Tractor Mechanics, and the other Trailer Mechanics to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections prescribing the correct remedial action.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • A Licensed Heavy-Duty Mechanic
  • Demonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilities will be key to your success in this position
  • Previous experience and qualification to perform Safeties are considered mandatory in this position
  • Experience using computers to enter work orders

Qualifications:

  • A certified Journeyman Technician or 2‐3 years’ experience
  • Demonstrated diagnosing and time‐management abilities will be key to your success in this position
  • Previous experience and qualification to perform Safety inspections are considered an asset in this
  • position, ability to obtain CVIP is mandatory
