Job summary

Qualifications

• Education related to trails, forestry or ecological restoration is preferred.
• First Aid/CPR training is considered an asset.
• You must be a fully licensed Class G driver.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance and repair of recreational trails.
• Perform timber harvesting and habitat restoration projects.
• Brushing and pruning.
• Install and maintain signage.
• Inspect and maintain trails.
• Conduct timber cruising and tree marking.
• Participate in ecological restoration and invasive species removal.

Skills

Post-secondary education related to trails, forestry or ecological restoration

First Aid/CPR training

Ability to work individually and as a team player

Experience working outdoors and in various climatic conditions

Good communication skills

Good time management skills

Fully licensed Class G driver

Appropriate safety footwear
