Qualifications

  • Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience professionnelle exigé.
  • Qualifié pour exercer en Ontario comme Ingénieur Professionnel ou Planificateur Professionnel.

Job description

  • Contribute to a variety of transportation / traffic planning and design projects involving traffic analysis, parking reviews, road safety audits, signage and pavement marking reviews, neighbourhood traffic management, and transportation demand management.
  • Support Dillon’s leading technical staff / project managers in project delivery for both public and private sector clients.
  • Provide technical expertise on various projects as part of multidisciplinary teams (including planners, project engineers, environmental scientists, technologists).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients.

  • Participate actively in professional associations and committees to enhance Dillon’s profile.

Qualifications

What you will need to succeed

  • A degree in civil engineering or urban planning, or a diploma in civil engineering technology with a transportation focus.
  • Qualified to practice in Ontario as a Professional Engineer, Registered Professional Planner, or Certified Engineering Technologist, or be eligible within six months.
  • Strong report writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience.

Experience

The ideal candidate should demonstrate interest, knowledge, and experience in areas such as:

  • Road safety and traffic calming studies
  • Warrant analysis for traffic control devices
  • Proficiency with traffic engineering software
  • Active transportation and TDM programs
  • Environmental assessment studies for transportation facilities
  • Innovation and technology in transportation/traffic engineering
