Job summary

ATS Traffic Ltd. is seeking seasonal flaggers for Lake Louise, AB, to direct traffic and ensure road safety during the 2026 summer season. You will work outdoors, typically 10–12 hours daily, with a 4-on/4-off schedule or a flexible alternative.

Training is provided to qualified candidates. Starting wage is $25 per hour, with overtime paid. Transportation to/from Calgary or Banff areas is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Own transportation to commute to Lake Louise and surrounding areas.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening (safety sensitive role).
• Experience in Traffic Control or Construction is an asset; training/certifications provided.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic and signal vehicles when to slow down, stop, and proceed to ensure road safety.
• Assist with outdoor traffic control duties and work in summer conditions around Lake Louise.

What is a Traffic Controller, you may ask? A Traffic Controller directs traffic and ensures safety on the roads. You will signal to vehicles when to slow down, stop, and when it is safe to proceed.

Picture it. You, working outdoors in the summertime surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Lake Louise.

Hours:10-12 Hours/Day. 4 days on/4 days off or we can be flexible with an alternative schedule, please include a comment in the screen question section of availability.

Wage: Starting at $25 an hour depending on level of experience, with standard overtime pay.

Transportation: Transportation will be provided if needed from a one pick-up location in Calgary, with a second transportation option available in the Banff area.

Project Length: Begins May and contract will be until October 28, 2026.

ATS offers full training to ensure all successful candidates are fully skilled for this position.

Qualifications

• Own method of transportation to get to and from work
• Ability to undergo and successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. *Note: As this is a safety sensitive role we have a zero tolerance policy for use of medical and/or recreational marijuana.
• Experience in either Traffic Control or Construction industries is an asset, however we will provide training and certifications to the right candidates!
