Job summary

ATS Traffic in Canada seeks a Traffic Control Supervisor to lead a team of Traffic Technicians and coordinate office-to-field activities for ongoing projects. The role plans staffing, allocates resources, and drives productivity while upholding quality goals.

The ideal candidate brings leadership experience, strong communication, and a background in traffic control operations. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with overtime as required and opportunities to grow within ATS Corporate

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Traffic/Transportation with leadership preferred.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License with clean abstract.
• Current Traffic Control certification required and maintained.
• Strong knowledge of BC TMM/TMP and provincial regs.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook; Canva is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach TCPs and LCTs, aligning with corporate policy.
• Maintain a safety-first environment per ATS policies and WorkSafeBC.
• Mobilize resources daily; ensure timely completion of work.
• Ensure field crews have training and certificates up to date.
• Coordinate with Traffic Control Manager for smooth office-field communication.
• Build customer relationships and expand traffic control services.
• Recruit, onboard, orient, and schedule TCPs and LCTs.
• Deliver training development and onsite presentations as needed.
