Job summary

Onni is seeking a Flagger to join our Vancouver construction team. You will provide traffic control in work zones year-round, following regulations and procedures with Onni training. Expect a physically active role outdoors in various weather conditions and a focus on safety and service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of traffic control experience in Canada.
• Knowledge of Traffic Management Manual.
• Valid TCP Certificate.
• Outdoor work at construction sites and inclement weather.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Controls movement of vehicular traffic through construction projects.
• Read and manage traffic management plans.
• Perform traffic management field audits.
• Distribute traffic control signs and markers along site in designated pattern.
• Control traffic using signs, hands, and signals.
• Warn workers when drivers do not heed signals to prevent accidents.
• Inform drivers of detour routes through sites.
• Provide high level of customer service and maintain well‑organized work zones.
• Keep equipment organized and in working order.
• Other duties as assigned.
