Job summary

SEQUOIA is a leading tradeshow design and fabrication company based in Pitt Meadows, BC. We seek a hands-on Shop Fabricator to join our production team, turning drawings into high-quality finished pieces for exhibits, displays, and installations.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, skilled with shop tools, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with production, project management, and design teams.

Qualifications

• Background in carpentry, cabinetmaking, millwork, scenic fabrication, tradeshow fabrication, construction, or related field.
• Hands-on skills with power tools and shop equipment.
• Precise measurement, cutting, assembly, and finishing with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom exhibits, displays, scenic elements, and experiential installations from drawings and project specs.
• Operate woodworking equipment (table saws, mitre saws, routers, sanders, drills).
• Assemble cabinetry, walls, counters, displays, and signage structures.
• Finish work: sanding, filling, laminating, painting prep, hardware installation.
