We’re looking for a solid Project Manager who knows the trades. Someone who’s managed HVAC / R, plumbing, and gas projects before and can keep a job running smooth from the first phone call to the final walkthrough.

At Active Mechanical, you won’t just be stuck behind a desk. You’ll be on site, meeting with clients, coordinating crews, and solving problems as they come up. We’ve built a team that respects experience, communicates openly, and doesn’t believe in micromanaging. If you know how to keep projects on time, on budget, and done right — and can keep your cool if things go sideways — you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll be doing :

• Managing commercial and residential HVAC / R, plumbing, and gas projects from start to finish
• Coordinating with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and our own field teams
• Preparing and reviewing estimates, schedules, and budgets
• Making sure jobs stay profitable without cutting corners
• Visiting sites, handling change orders, and solving the daily surprises that come with construction
• Keeping clear records and reporting to management — but not buried in paperwork all day

What we’re looking for :

Proven experience managing mechanical projects (HVAC / R, plumbing, gas)

Strong understanding of mechanical systems — you don’t need to do the installs, but you need to get them

Good communicator who can keep clients happy and crews moving

Organized, detail-focused, and able to juggle multiple projects at once

Valid driver’s license and comfort working on active sites

Bonus if you’ve come up through the trades — we value practical know-how
