Qualifications

• Minimum of three to five years of experience specializing in trademark clearance and prosecution and preparing related agreements.
• Experience with enforcement matters, such as oppositions, cancellations, and infringement actions, and experience in copyright, marketing & advertising, or privacy law would be an asset.
• Experience working in an electronic environment.
• Outstanding communication and organization skills.
• Excellent research and writing skills, both technical and legal.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, highly responsive, and positive work attitude is critical.

We are looking to add additional talent to join our Ottawa Office. The Trademark Associate will have an in-depth understanding of trademark law and principals.

You will support all trademark related needs of significant portfolios of high-profile clients throughout the world in a wide variety of industries and provide support on enforcement matters.

Experience:
