Qualifications

The Trade Support Analyst will process all deductions or promotions in accordance with the Management Guidelines and ensure that client’s expectations are met.

Responsibilities

  • Manage implementation and maintenance of customer plans within the Client/Acosta proprietary system including volumes, promotions, and programs in accordance with established policies and procedures within specified timelines.
  • Pull monthly reports of all upcoming promotions and take required actions for proper handling and resolutions.
  • Provide reporting to Customer and Client managers as required, including Sales and Spend Review, Forecast Summary, and Actuals to Objectives.
  • Maintain all customer programs and volume forecasts within the Client/Acosta proprietary system.
  • Manage deduction issues for all assigned Clients.
  • Track and coordinate unresolved customer deductions and manage timely resolution.
  • Consistently follow up with Customer manager on resolution, making changes in the system and reporting back to Client.
  • Additional responsibilities as requested by manager

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma/GED

Work Experience

  • 1+ years of business experience.
  • Associate degree in Business or related field (preferred)
  • Experience in Customer Service, Sales/Marketing or Accounting/Finance is strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Trade Promotion Management systems (knowledge of MEI/AFS TPM software)
  • Ability to provide in-depth analysis and recommendations based on the information provided
  • Ability to work in a multi-task environment with multiple, and sometimes conflicting priorities and specific time constraints
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and other related tools
  • Familiar with CPG or food industry and experience with major retailers
