ACCO Brands Corporation in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking a Trade Spend Analyst to join the North America Finance team supporting the management and execution of trade promotions and spending activities for customer contracts. The role reports to the Finance Manager, Decision Support and requires strong analytical skills and meticulous data handling.

The position is hybrid from Mississauga with responsibilities spanning finance and sales collaboration, contract processing, and month-end close.

Competenze

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting, business or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in trade spend, financial analysis, or CPG industry preferred.
• Proficient data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP).
• Understanding of accrual accounting principles.

Mansioni

• Process and validate trade promotions, discounts, rebates, and customer agreements.
• Maintain and update trade spend systems and databases.
• Reconcile trade spend accounts and investigate discrepancies related to deductions working Sales Team Account Managers and Accounts Receivable team member assigned to the account.
• Collaborate with Sales and Finance teams to ensure alignment on budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare customer contracts and manage all stages of the contract process to completion.
• Prepare account-specific customer reconciliations and detailed analysis as requested by all levels in Sales/Finance and customers where applicable.
• Support accrual calculations and ensure proper documentation for month-end and year-end financial close.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
