Base pay range

$51,000.00/yr - $55,000.00/yr

At our company, we grow People, Brands, and Businesses! We are seeking a dynamic Trade Management Specialist (TMS) who will work closely with assigned Customer Development Managers and Directors. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of customer business plans using client software, managing deduction processing following client policies and procedures. This includes sales forecasts, pricing, promotion plans, trade spend expenditures, long leads, and deduction management tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation and day-to-day maintenance of accurate customer plans within the Trade system.
  • Create one plan per Brand, execute ongoing updates to plans per SPM / CDM instructions, identify baseline forecast variances, close deals, update promotions and long leads.
  • Manage claims, deduction, and reconciliation processes by following client policies and procedures to meet monthly goals.
  • Identify deduction validation issues and work with SPM / CDM to resolve them.
  • Maintain audit-compliant files and documentation.
  • Report and balance cleared and open deductions for financial reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience required.
  • 2-5 years administrative/planning experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry.
  • Ability to learn new software quickly; must be able to build Excel templates/spreadsheets from scratch using Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Excellent organization, math, and analytical skills; strong verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment; ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
