Job summary

DANA CANADA CORP. in Canada is seeking an experienced engineer to lead motor design solutions that satisfy customer requirements. You will own DVP&R definitions, drive DFMEA activities, and perform CAE-based analyses to validate performance.

You will collaborate across disciplines, lead root-cause analyses, and support prototype builds, testing, and manufacturing readiness while presenting findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3 years of progressive experience in automotive or similar field.
• Minimum of 1 year of progressive experience in design / development of electrification products.
• Strong communicator with excellent presentation skills.
• Proactive, organized, and capable of handling multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver motor design solutions meeting customer requirements
• Own DVP&R definition and execution to validate product performance

• Support prototype builds, testing, and validation activities
• Lead root cause analysis and issue resolution
• Support cost optimisation and manufacturing readiness

Education and Qualifications

• 3 years of progressive experience in automotive or similar field

• Strong knowledge of GD&T and ability to understand prints / stack-ups
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels within and outside of Dana in a professional manner
• Demonstrated ability to organize multiple responsibilities and meet multiple deadlinesMust be a self-directed, motivated, and organized individual who is willing to accept responsibility
