Job summary

CN is seeking a leader to direct operations for a designated territory, overseeing track inspection, repairs, and supervision of track gangs. You will ensure safety and regulatory compliance while supporting the Track Supervisor.

You will manage priorities, coach staff, and apply collective agreements, with travel up to 50% and a hybrid work model. A strong background in safety, budgeting, and labour relations is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of safety/compliance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and solving problems.
• Experience in regulatory or safety environments is advantageous.
• Budget management experience is a plus.
• Experience with labour relations and unionized workforce is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead track engineering operations as per CN's plan.
• Supervise track gangs and hi-rail operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and Transport Canada guidelines.
• Provide direction and coaching to employees; monitor performance.
• Handle investigations and grievances; apply collective agreements.
