You must be a graduate of NSCC's Print Production Program.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Do you aspire to lead and coach a team, be a top performer, manage P&L responsibilities, and build a solid reputation for TPH and yourself that clients rave about? Are you ready to start on the ground floor, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge you gained at school and real hands-on experience in a commercial print production environment? If yes, TPH's Graduate LaunchPad Program is for YOU!

Please note this is a PAID graduate career development program designed to develop future TPH managers. LaunchPad Associate roles are available in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and Halifax.

Program Overview:
  1. Initial Training: As a LaunchPad Associate, you'll start with our Head Office Business Development team, learning TPH's value proposition, prospecting, and developing opportunities with new and existing TPH customers.
  2. Field Experience: Gain hands-on experience in various Local Production Centres (LPCs), working alongside production teams to deliver exceptional 'raving fan' customer experiences.
  3. Permanent Placement: Upon successful completion of the program, secure a permanent position at a TPH Local Production Centre.

This is an immersive and challenging six-month program, but for those who are ready to take it on and work hard, you will learn a lot of valuable technical knowledge and customer service skills, meet new people across our talented TPH network, and launch your career journey at TPH!

What You'll Gain:
  1. Skills: Real work experience in business development, time management, technical production know-how, customer service, delivering unreasonable hospitality, and problem-solving.
  2. Networking: Work alongside and network with TPH managers and teams across various LPCs.
  3. Growth: Opportunities to take initiative, grow, and add responsibility, focusing on continuous improvement by creating reference documentation and tools to help all TPH team members grow.
  4. High-Performing Team: Be part of a team whose daily purpose is dedicated to exceeding customer expectations to retain customers for life and drive positive word of mouth for TPH to attract new customers.
  5. Permanent Position: Following the program, join a TPH Local Production Centre team where you'll leverage your skills and LaunchPad experience to deliver exceptional solutions and create 'raving fan' customer experiences.
  6. Pitch Perfect Competition: Gain presentation experience by working on a business development project that culminates in a pitch to a real client.
Qualifications:
  1. Education: Graduating or graduated from an accredited Graphic Communications college/University program.
  2. Customer Service: 'Can do' attitude with a focus on exceeding expectations and relationship-building.
  3. Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy with a focus on 'doing it right the first time.'
  4. Adaptability: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  5. Coachable: Team player, open to feedback, and adaptable to new technologies.
  6. Technical Skills: Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Enfocus Pitstop is a plus.
  7. Passion for Printing: A genuine interest in building your career in the printing industry.
Program Details:
  1. Start Date: Monday, May 5th, 2025.
  2. Reports To: Business Development Manager and TPH Manager at assigned LPCs.
  3. Location: In-person at TPH Halifax, Barrington Street, and TPH Dartmouth, Akerley Blvd., NS. Occasionally, LaunchPad Associates may be required to attend business events and/or other regional local production centres for staff coverage.
