Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and operate wired, wireless, fiber optic, and microwave telecommunications equipment and systems.
• Understand and implement MasTec Communications Group Health Safety and Environmental Policies.
• Follow industry standards (OSHA, TIA-10-48, NATE CTS, ANSI).
• Climb towers and ladders at various heights.
• Assist in tower erection using helicopters, cranes, and gin poles.
• Assist in the assembly of monopoles, weld, and knock down self-support and guyed towers.
• Install antennas, transmission lines, and related equipment.
• Serve as a mentor to less experienced technicians.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Degree required; minimum of 2 years tower experience preferred.
• Ability to climb towers, lift 50 lbs., and work up to 12 hours.
• Valid driver's license with a record meeting company policy.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
• Possession of a PWSA certification is a plus.
