Summary:
The Tow Truck Driver responsible for the safe and efficient pickup and delivery of vehicles from customer sites to company sites.

Qualifications:

• Rollback flatbed towing single and double vehicles required (Chevy 5500 rollback with wheel lift for additional vehicle).
• Safety oriented.
• Roll-off experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace.
• Class B CDL is preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Picks up and delivers vehicles to Metalico yards safely, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
• Responsible for matching the VIN on the car to the title.
• Responsible for inspecting customer vehicles to make sure it meet the agreement for purchase.
• Drives the tow truck in a safe manner at all times, ensuring that every trip is completed by DOT regulations, and speed limits, and free of accidents.
• Conducts daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks. Completes required paperwork accurately and turns in any paperwork daily to the scale with each vehicle brought in.
• Monitors mechanical functions of the truck.
• Communicate to the manager immediately any accidents that may have happened.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7 am to 4:30 pm, some Saturday and after work hours may be required.
