The Municipality of Port Hope is seeking a Tourism Activator to bolster the local tourism sector. This summer position focuses on community-based destination marketing and fostering connections among attractions and businesses, offering compensation of CAD 18.15 to CAD 19.70 per hour along with various employee benefits.
The Tourism Activator for the Municipality of Port Hope will play a foundational role under the direction of Port Hope Tourism in bolstering the local tourism sector by helping promote and liaise among the region’s diverse attractions, supporting the growth of local businesses, and fostering community partnerships. This position focuses on supporting innovative, community-based destination marketing and helping build a sustainable tourism framework for the Municipality.
