A Biosphere certified destination, Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism is committed to ensuring the pillars of sustainability are adopted across the organization’s programs and projects, including accessibility.
Job duties will include participating in on-site accessibility assessments, data input on assessment results, supporting and participating in staff education around equity and inclusion, and emergency management support as needed during the summer season for vulnerable populations.
Tasks may include:
(1) updating regional information on location accessibility attributes and digital footprint
(2) completing accessibility checklists
(3) collaborating with the Accessibility Program Assistant and Manager to update resources and information for businesses and residents
(4) reading and discussing the Accessibility BC Act
(5) Accessible Employer training
Hourly wage: $20.00
