JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a dynamic, self-driven Tour & Travel Manager to lead and expand our leisure travel and tourism partnerships. This role requires a strategic thinker and strong communicator with a proven ability to foster relationships across the tourism industry. As the main liaison between our brand and external travel partners, the Tour & Travel Manager will promote our premier mountain destination through sales outreach, partner engagement, familiarization tours, and participation in key industry events. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who is passionate about tourism and eager to contribute to the continued growth of our business.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Partner Development & Relationship Management:
– Develop and manage strategic relationships with tour operators, wholesalers, DMCs, and travel trade partners
– Provide consistent partner support including operational coordination, rate administration, and delivery of promotional materials and sales tools
– Develop guidelines for partner-facing logistics including arrival processes, voucher redemption, add-on experiences and service recovery where needed
– Ensure partner satisfaction by delivering timely solutions and maintaining open communication channels

Sales Strategy & Market Growth:
– Drive sales through proactive outreach and innovative promotional initiatives with tour and travel partners
– Lead the hotel concierge engagement and referral program to maximize in-market exposure
– Plan and host familiarization (FAM) tours and product knowledge sessions for travel agents and operators
– Represent the company at industry trade shows, roadshows, networking events, and conferences
– Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
– Work closely with internal teams including Marketing, Operations, Guest Services IT, and Finance to align messaging, streamline processes, and deliver exceptional partner and guest experiences
– Ensure seamless coordination of campaigns, packages, and seasonal offerings

Responsibilities & Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES:
– Post-secondary degree or diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field
– 3+ years of experience in tourism or hospitality, with a strong understanding of B2B travel trade sales
– Proven ability to present and speak confidently to diverse audiences
– Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build trust and rapport with partners
– Confident sales and negotiation skills, including handling objections and closing deals
– Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); CRM experience an asset
– Willingness to travel and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
