Purpose

Contributes to the overall success of the Client Solutions group in Canada by ensuring that specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities comply with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. Collaborates with the Regional Director, Client Solutions, to support the execution of SWM’s team-based offerings.

Accountabilities
  • Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Promote the SWM offering regionally by presenting its value proposition and service offerings to internal audiences, promoting resources and channels, identifying best practices, providing insights, and delivering training to SWM staff.
  • Manage regional engagement activities related to Total Wealth, including high net worth plan development meetings, interaction with relationship managers and specialists, monitoring client engagement outcomes, and influencing onboarding processes.
  • Lead practice management support to educate and coach relationship managers and specialists on delivering total wealth, embedding a comprehensive approach into their business planning and client service processes.
  • Support business development activities targeting high net worth clients through prospecting, awareness-building, and participation in client and COI events, collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance offerings and results.
  • Facilitate communication from the field to the National Office regarding support needs for relationship managers and specialists.
  • Provide leadership support to the Regional Director by troubleshooting issues related to specialist coordination and delivery inconsistencies.
  • Understand and consider the bank’s risk appetite and culture in daily activities and decisions.
  • Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with Scotiabank’s values, conduct standards, and risk management policies, including AML/ATF and sanctions.
  • Promote a high-performance, inclusive work environment.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of Wealth Management experience working with relationship managers and wealth solutions.
  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian Wealth Management industry, financial instruments, markets, and regulations.
  • Experience in marketing and promotion.
  • Familiarity with client relationship management and tracking software; knowledge of multiple front and back office systems is desirable.
  • Industry credentials (CSC, CFP, PFP, Insurance license, etc.) are assets.
