Position Details:

  • Position: Full-Time Commercial Vehicle Administrator Assistant
  • Site: Toronto Pearson Airport
  • Location: Mississauga, ON
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 0800 - 1600
  • Pay Rate: $19.30/hr
  • Internal Posting Date: May 1st, 2025
  • Internal Closing Date: May 15th, 2025

Job Description

The Commercial Vehicle Administrator Assistant shall perform activities including:

  • Registering companies & drivers
  • Reviewing & approving driver self-registration requests
  • Creating bookings and permits
  • Suspending/deactivating accounts when needed
  • Accepting payments for stored values, issuing refunds, and processing vouchers
  • Supporting bookings at both Terminals
  • Coordinating vehicle dispatch from holding area to Terminal curbs
  • Dispatching vehicles via CVTA System and handling system malfunctions
  • Matching passengers to vehicles, responding to inquiries, and assisting drivers
  • Completing bank deposits and fund reconciliations
  • Using spreadsheets and manual methods during CVTA system failures
  • Maintaining records and assisting with operational requests

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of administrative or office support experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfort with office equipment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
