Job summary

SECURE is actively seeking an experienced Torch Cutter to join our Edmonton metals recycling team. In this full-time role, you will safely process ferrous and non-ferrous materials, leveraging torch-cutting expertise to maximize material value and support efficient yard operations.

You will follow safety policies, operate related equipment, and collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, organized workspace in a challenging outdoor environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous torch cutting experience is preferred; oil and gas industry experience is an asset.
  • Follow all SECURE health, safety, and environmental policies, including hazard assessments and safe work practices.
  • Complete safety documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform physically demanding work, including lifting and moving heavy materials.
  • Work safely and effectively in challenging weather and site conditions.
  • Maintain fitness for duty and readiness to work each day.
  • Contribute to safe, efficient site operations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  • Safely cut and process metal materials in a fast-paced recycling environment.

  • Utilize power tools and small equipment safely and effectively.
  • Complete pre-operational inspections and report equipment deficiencies promptly.
  • Maintain equipment, work areas, and site housekeeping standards to support safe and efficient operations.

Your Opportunity at SECURE
