Job summary

IQ Resource Group, Inc. seeks a responsible Tooling Coordinator to manage the tool crib, ensuring tooling, materials, and equipment are available to keep production on schedule.

The role combines inventory control, tooling prep, maintenance, and light equipment upkeep in a hands-on, independent工作 environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, capable of adapting to shifting production priorities, and comfortable working with Engineering and Maintenance teams to maintain tooling readiness

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate a variety of machinery, hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and adapt when production priorities change.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; previous maintenance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the tool crib and maintain inventory levels of tooling and production supplies.
• Order materials and supplies to support manufacturing operations.
• Prepare and stage tooling and materials for upcoming production jobs.
• Pull dies, plates, bolts, fixtures, jigs, and other tooling per the production schedule.
• Maintain daily communication with the First Shift Lead and Production Manager about schedules and tooling needs.
• Prepare backup tooling to support unexpected schedule changes.
• Receive, inspect, clean, and store tooling returned from production.
• Assist Engineering with tooling repairs, polishing, or maintenance as needed.
