Job Summary:

The Tooling Main Project Engineer will join the Engineering department's Tooling team, responsible for the technical studies and design of transportation and erection tools for main equipment in hydropower plants (including embedded parts, turbines, generators, valves, and hydromechanical systems). This role focuses on project execution for existing projects within the North America region.

Responsibilities:

• Perform calculations and design of tools for a given project, adhering to the COE’s Design Practices and under the validation of the principal tooling engineer.
• Represent the Tooling Center of Excellence (COE) in interactions with the Project Team, including Generator System Integrator, main project engineers, Supply Chain, and Construction & Commissioning teams.
• Coordinate within the Tooling COE the calculation and design of all tools identified during the project’s synopsis phase, ensuring compliance with planning, cost, and safety standards.
