AtkinsRéalis in Canada is seeking a newly graduated engineer in training to support design, construction, and commissioning activities for major industrial and nuclear projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining a Comprehensive Work Package with construction and engineering teams.
  • Assist in tooling designs and maintenance for tooling systems and test apparatus.
  • Assist in design modifications to tooling systems and troubleshoot issues.
  • Provide assurance that design/manufacturing activities follow approved policies and procedures.
  • Prepare technical documents, drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Participate in field implementations of tooling systems and work in office/field locations.

Overview

Join our team as a newly graduated engineer in training to perform design, construction, and commissioning activities for major industrial and nuclear projects. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy solving critical engineering challenges, we would love to meet you.

Your role
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Comprehensive Work Package in cooperation with construction and engineering.
  • Assist in the development of tooling/machinery designs, maintenance activities for tooling systems and custom design of test apparatus.
  • Assist in design and implementation of modifications to existing tooling systems.
  • Troubleshoot and find solutions to problems with tooling systems.
  • Identify, report, and secure approval for deviations from the design documents as they occur.
  • Provide assurance that design and manufacturing activities are performed in accordance with written and approved policy, standards, programs and applicable procedures.
  • Prepare technical documents, drawings, specifications and reports.
  • Participate in field implementations of the tooling systems.
  • Occasionally perform duties in a radiation environment.
  • Maintain high standards related to final product quality.
About you
  • Bachelors in Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, or Mechatronics).
