Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a newly graduated engineer in training to support design, construction and commissioning activities for major industrial and nuclear projects. You will assist in developing and maintaining comprehensive work packages, tooling designs, and test apparatus, while preparing technical documents and reports.

Travel may be required with work in field and office locations. A background check and security clearance process are part of the onboarding, and a hybrid working culture

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Engineering with a focus on one of the listed disciplines.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and maintenance of Work Packages with construction and engineering teams.
• Assist in tooling and machinery designs and test apparatus design.
• Assist in modifications to tooling systems and troubleshoot issues.
• Prepare technical documents, drawings, specifications and reports.
• Participate in field implementations of tooling systems and comply with safety requirements.

Job Description Overview

Join our team as a newly graduated engineer in training to perform design, construction, and commissioning activities for major industrial and nuclear projects. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy solving critical engineering challenges, we would love to meet you. Your role Assist in the development and maintenance of Comprehensive Work Package in cooperation with construction and engineering. Assist in the development of tooling/machinery designs, maintenance activities for tooling systems and custom design of test apparatus. Assist in design and implementation of modifications to existing tooling systems. Troubleshoot and find solutions to problems with tooling systems. Identify, report, and secure approval for deviations from the design documents as they occur. Prepare technical documents, drawings, specifications and reports. Participate in field implementations of the tooling systems. Occasionally perform duties in a radiation environment. Maintain high standards related to final product quality.

About you

Bachelors in Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, or Mechatronics). Ability to prioritize and multi-task/Service orientated. Excellent interpersonal communication (both oral and written) skills. Organizational and time management skills. Thrive on a fast-paced and growing environment.
