Job summary

Kapco Inc. is seeking a Tool & Die Maker for 1st, 2nd and Weekend shifts at our Grafton, WI facility. You will build new dies, repair existing dies, and work with jigs, fixtures and tooling while maintaining very tight tolerances.

Ideal candidates have experience in metal manufacturing, strong math skills and meticulous attention to detail. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and paid holidays.

• Experience in a metal manufacturing environment with metal grounding and manual machine operation.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong math skills.

Responsibilities

• Build new dies and repair existing dies, including progressive dies, jigs and fixtures.
• Lay out and perform bench and machine operations to construct, alter and repair dies, jigs, fixtures and special tools.
• Perform tool and die maintenance and repair duties.

We offer competitive pay plus a $5000 sign on bonus!

Primary Responsibilities

• Building new and repairing of existing die consisting of progressive dies, jigs and fixtures
• Holds extremely close tolerances, which will reduce the cost and improve the speed and quality of various production operations
• Lays out and performs bench and machine operations to construct, alter and repair dies, jigs, fixtures and special tools
• Performs tool and die maintenance and repairman duties
• Verifies quality and print specifications are met
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education & Experience

• Experience in a metal manufacturing environment: metal grounding and manual machine operation
• Attention to detail and good math skills
