Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Mechanical Design professional to design, modify and update tooling drawings, and participate in jig testing with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience in design and/or industrial manufacturing, strong CATIA V5 or Siemens NX skills, and the ability to collaborate with suppliers and customers while ensuring quality and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Requires a college or university degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in design and/or industrial manufacturing.
• Proficiency with CATIA V5 or Siemens NX and PLM systems; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify and update tooling drawings based on method requirements.
• Participate in jig testing in collaboration with other departments.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between stakeholders, suppliers and customers.
• Analyze and solve technical problems related to the design and manufacture of tooling.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes.
