Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP Finance consultant on high-priority shorter term projects and value assessments
• Assist in Finance pre-sales activities (RFP responses, Client Discovery, Demo Preparation and Delivery)
• Finance quality assurance on longer-term projects
• Work with Director, Finance Solutions and other Solution Architects to drive improvements in Syntax’s intellectual property, finance solutions, industry-specific solutions and delivery capabilities
• Assist in design of complex Finance enhancements and/or extensions to standard SAP using latest SAP technologies
• Provide functional and architectural guidance to teams designing leading edge solutions in the Finance space (e.g. Mobile solutions, Business Intelligence)

Qualifications:

• 13+ years of hands on SAP experience in both FI and CO roles
• Minimum 5 full life cycle implementations of SAP as Finance lead on large, complex projects
• Experience with S/4HANA Finance (Release 1809 and above), including working knowledge of Fiori
• Excellent communication and management consulting skills
• Knowledge of Group Reporting, SAC-P and other bolt ons would be a great advantage.
• Knowledge of Standard Revenue Recognition methods and Event Based Revenue recognition would be a great advantage.
• Experience integrating central AP Invoicing solutions like Opentext is a plus
• Ability to work in USA and Canada - We do not provide sponsorship
