Role Summary

The Junior Consulting Manager plays a supportive role in managing and developing a team of consultants. Reporting to a senior manager, the Junior Consulting Manager assists in coaching, recruiting, training, and ensuring the success of consultants in their roles. This position is ideal for candidates looking to grow into a leadership role within consulting.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining a list of required skills for the consulting team and identifying areas for growth.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and training efforts for consultants.
  • Help consultants navigate company policies, processes, and client requirements to succeed in their roles.
  • Collaborate with teams like Resourcing, Project Management, and HR to allocate consultants to projects effectively.
  • Track consultant utilization and workload distribution, offering recommendations for balance and efficiency.
  • Provide input on performance feedback and career development opportunities for consultants.
  • Act as a point of contact for consultants, addressing questions and helping them resolve challenges.
  • Promote the company’s core values: Accountability, Teamwork, Excellence, Customer Focus, and a Can-Do Attitude.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in a consulting or team coordination role.

Preferred

  • Experience with process improvement techniques is a plus.
  • Strong skills in Excel and Reporting is a plus.
