Syntax is seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning FP&A Architect to play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAC Planning solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise coupled with a strong understanding of FP&A processes, enabling them to architect innovative solutions that align with client business needs. As an SAC Planning FP&A Architect, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions by delivering scalable and efficient SAC Planning systems.

This position requires strategic thinking, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to guide both business and technical teams to success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Architecture :
2. Design end-to-end SAC Planning solutions tailored to complex FP&A requirements.
3. Develop scalable and reusable architecture frameworks that align with client business processes and industry best practices.
4. Ensure seamless integration of SAC with other SAP systems (e.g., S / 4HANA, BW / 4HANA, SAP Datasphere) and third-party platforms.
5. Technical Leadership
6. Lead workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical designs.
7. Provide strategic guidance on SAC Planning functionalities, including forecast modeling, budget planning, and scenario analysis.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between technical and functional domains.
9. Project Delivery
10. Oversee the implementation of SAC Planning solutions, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
11. Identify and resolve architectural challenges during project execution.
12. Work closely with consultants to deliver robust and sustainable solutions.
13. Client Engagement
14. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing recommendations for optimizing their FP&A solutions.
15. Deliver presentations and technical demonstrations to highlight the value of SAC Planning capabilities.
16. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
17. Innovation & Best Practices
18. Stay updated on SAC Planning enhancements and emerging trends in analytics and FP&A.
19. Drive innovation by proposing new functionalities or technologies to improve SAC Planning solutions.
20. Promote best practices and mentor junior team members within Syntax.

Required Skills And Qualifications

1. Technical and Functional Expertise :
2. Proven experience in architecting and implementing SAC Planning solutions, including advanced planning models, data actions, multi actions, reporting, and data integration.
3. Strong knowledge of FP&A processes, including financial modeling, scenario planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
4. Experience with SAP systems such as S / 4HANA, BW / 4HANA, SAP Datasphere, or other related platforms.
5. Knowledge of BPC Planning, BPC Consolidation, and SAP Group Reporting is a plus.
6. Architectural Mindset
7. Ability to design scalable, modular, and reusable architectures.
8. Expertise in aligning business requirements with technical solutions through effective problem-solving and strategic thinking.
9. Soft Skills
10. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to diverse audiences.

13. Education And Certifications
14. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
15. SAP certifications in Analytics Cloud or related domains are highly desirable.
