Job summary

Kal Tire in Alberta is seeking a Tire Technician to support day-to-day shop service, installing, repairing, and maintaining tires while helping keep operations running smoothly. This is a temporary position with full-time and part-time hours available for the duration of the contract.

You will be part of a team that works safely, supports each other, and takes pride in getting the job done right, with hands-on training and opportunities to gain experience in the automotive industry.

Qualifications

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Team-oriented with a practical, safety-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, rotate, balance, and repair tires.
• Safely operate tire service equipment and tools.
• Inspect tires and vehicles to identify required services.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
• Support the team to keep workflow efficient and on schedule.
