Job summary

Kal Tire is seeking a Tire Technician in the St. Albert area. You will perform tire installations, balancing, rotation, and repairs across a variety of vehicles while upholding high safety standards.

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced, supportive team with room for growth. The position offers a starting wage of $19.58 per hour and a clear pathway for wage progression. Kal Tire provides extended health, dental, and vision benefits and participates in an RRSP with matching DPSP.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to solve problems on the spot.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Comfortable working in a physical environment and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prioritize safety, including wearing required PPE and following all safety procedures.
• Automotive or tire-related experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire installation, balancing, rotation, and repairs on various vehicles.
• Inspect tires and wheels for damage or wear and recommend appropriate service.
• Operate tire service equipment safely and efficiently, following all procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
• Provide excellent service by communicating clearly with team members and customers.
