Tiny Hoppers Early Learning Queensborough is seeking F/T Early Childhood Educators

· Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

· Wage: $22.50~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)

· Number of Positions: 2

· Work Location: F120 805 Boyd Street, New Westminster, BC V3M 5G7

· 10 days paid vacation per year

· Extended health care and dental plan after completing 5-month probation

Job Duties:

· Create and implement childcare programs that promote children’s physical, mental, emotional, and social development

· Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and organizing crafts

· Establish and maintain an environment that ensures the safety, health, and well-being of children

· Assess children’s skills, interests, and needs, and communicate with parents and other staff members about any emerging issues

· Maintain daycare equipment and assist with housekeeping and cooking tasks

· Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for meal and rest times

· Discuss children’s progress and any challenges at staff meetings

· Prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors after observing children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues

· Encourage and assist children in developing healthy eating habits, dressing appropriately, and managing toileting needs

· Foster cooperative relationships with colleagues and the community

Job requirements:

· Experience: Experience as an Early Childhood Educator is an asset

· Education: College Certificate or diploma in early childhood education is required

· Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate and E.C.E. Certificate
