Job summary

Geoterra is seeking a Timber Cruiser for extensive fieldwork across BC. The role involves traveling to remote sites, collecting timber data, and ensuring compliance with the BC Timber Cruising Manual.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of BC interior experience, a valid BC driver’s license, and proficiency with CruiseMate; Geoterra offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of the BC Timber Cruising Manual.
• Valid BC Driver's License.
• Experience using CruiseMate application.

Responsibilities

• Travel to field sites for timber cruising as part of duties.
• Collect and document timber data per BC Timber Cruising Manual.
• Coordinate travel logistics and safety planning for fieldwork.

Preferred Qualifications

Compensation

• $30-$40 per hr. plus overtime at time and a half.
