Job summary

Dal-Tile LLC is seeking a dynamic Outside Sales Representative to increase market share across a broad region in Canada. The role focuses on servicing existing customers and expanding the account base through proactive cold calling and strategic visits.

The position requires a high school diploma (some college preferred) and at least 4 years of selling experience, with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. Travel involves 1–2 hour drives between visits and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and some college highly preferred.
• Computer skills to include functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Lotus Notes/email.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation is required.
• 4 years prior selling experience. Prior customer service experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to work in an unstructured, unsupervised environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly sales calls - servicing existing customers and cold calling (4-5 calls per week).
• Prepares weekly Sales and Call reports.
• Develops monthly strategy for sales calls and monthly travel calendar.
• Researches area market data to determine products most purchased in the area.
• Grows market share by increasing sales and maintaining product margins.
• Performs other duties as required.
