Job summary

A construction company is seeking a Tile Fitter in North York, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in tile fitting and be able to work in a physically demanding environment. This is a full-time, permanent position, with shifts during the day and morning. The company offers a competitive hourly rate of $36 for 35 hours a week.

Qualifications

• Experience in tile fitting of 2 to 3 years.
• Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered.
• Mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives.
• Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to base.
• Align and straighten tiles.
• Cut and fit tiles around obstacles.
• Pack grout into joints between tiles.
